International Expansion Specialist

The ideal candidate for this role:

• Is a strong team player and co-operator, flexible in navigating a variety of topics and tasks
• Is detail-oriented, solution-focused and completeness of tasks
• Is interested in knowledge sharing and effective communication
• Writes and speaks fluent English (other languages will be an advantage)
• Has the flexibility to come to the headquarters in Poznan 2/3 times a week

Key responsibilities:

• Implementing an international expansion strategy for YES S.A.
• Acquisition of retail space for new YES shops in foreign markets, especially in the CEE countries
• Negotiating lease agreements and technical annexes for acquired locations
• Diagnosing market gaps representing potential growth opportunities for the Company
• Support in the coordination of the investment process
• Active participation in cost and expense optimization
• Building good and stable business relations with contractors
• Daily management of project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
• Multi-tasking across projects and across jurisdictions based on strategic objectives
• Proactively identify process inefficiencies and inconsistencies
• Work collaboratively to improve and increase productivity
• Ability to move from 'scout to scale' and actually start the business

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position (approx. 2 years)
• Knowledge of the commercial real estate market in the CEE countries
• Excellent and practical knowledge of the nature of the provisions of the TCA (Technical Annex) and the LA (Lease agreement)
• Awareness of the economic consequences of the provisions of the TCA and the LA (Lease agreement)
• Well-developed ability to negotiate effectively
• Ease of establishing interpersonal contacts
• Mastery in high-speed situations
• Readiness to travel on business
